Great design should be refined, functional, and stand the test of time. This is the ethos that drives the De Novo collection, from design to fabric to fit. The result is a timeless collection that balances luxury and comfort. A perfect edition to elevate any wardrobe.

I began sewing at age 7, and have always enjoyed making things for myself, which eventually led me to design school. After earning a degree, I trained under experienced West coast designers, learning the ins and outs of fabric cutting, textile sourcing, and other aspects of the business before launching my own label.

I challenged myself with outerwear - one of the most difficult categories to design well. I loved the idea of being able to make only one piece in a particular fabric if I chose. Sometimes you find limited yardage in an amazing fabrics! I currently do both a core collection and sprinkle in one of a kind, hand-sewn art pieces when I can.

I refine designs and patterns over months, sometimes years, to achieve a look and fit that feels custom-tailored just for you. For components, I meticulously source from the highest quality mills across the globe, and consider lifestyle details like deep pockets, functional hoods, and interesting closures throughout the design process.

De Novo is available in select boutiques, my online store, or at many in-person events throughout the year, where I delight in connecting with you, hearing your feedback, and helping you find the perfect piece to cherish for years to come.
